Included in this extension is a tool that can be used to import image catalogs, while converting relative pathnames to absolute ones.
An ArcView Image Catalog contains references to images stored elsewhere. These references can be either relative or absolute pathnames. If you add an image catalog to a view that contains relative pathnames, and you add another theme from a different folder, ArcView no longer displays the images from the catalog. When using absolute pathnames, ArcView is always able to find the images.
